This week we have been learning how to set the table and make playdough food for some of our favourite teddy bears in the class. We have been enjoying rolling the dough and making cupcakes to feed to our friends. Our recently elected Student Council met today to organise their first event: PJ Day on Friday 28th September.
They decided we are fundraising to purchase at least 3 board games for each class! Please support PJ Day this Friday by wearing PJs and bringing in €2 or donating a board game to the school!! We had a great full first week back at school, with a lot of excitement throughout the week. P.E. / Gross Motor ActivitiesWe had a great time during P.E., moving in different ways; jumping, crawling and rolling our way through different activities. We also learned the importance of cooling down after exercise and taking some time to relax. Healthy LunchesIt was great to see the children bring healthy options to school for lunch. A lot of fruit and healthy snacks. We are learning all about healthy eating this month so keep it up!
